About me
Alice Douglas, MPH, Director of the Colorado Contraceptive Access Change project and Learning Collaboratives at CAI, has over 15 years of experience in the public health field. During her 9-year tenure with the organization, she has led CAI’s portfolio of initiatives focused on transforming health care delivery systems to better address the sexual and reproductive health needs of women. This includes CDC and foundation-funded projects to integrate evidence-based models to increase contraceptive access within healthcare settings and transforming health systems to better address the sexual and reproductive health needs of all patients. In this role, Ms. Douglas has led efforts across the country to provide training and technical assistance to health care teams from safety-net clinics as they seek to improve their capacity to provide comprehensive, non-coercive client-centered contraceptive services. Ms. Douglas graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2007 from Vanderbilt University, and spent three years in Central America as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She completed an MPH in 2012 at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health with a focus in population and family health.
